The Brown Dog of Battersea

This week we talked about some of the statues of South London and you can listen to it here.
One of the statues we talked about was that of The Brown Dog, a anti-vivisection memorial that can be found in Battersea Park
The current statue replaces the original that was removed and melted down as it became a focal point for pro and anti-vivisection protests and general public disorder.
